I am working on a ford F150 and under active test when trying to access any of the test we get the message Security access denied whould it help to update the 708 or is it still the same with the updatesTags: DS708

Never seen such error unless programming pats, I will say an update could help, how
outdated is your tool? -

The update is very expensive for usa, make sure it will fix your problem before you buy
it. Email or phone support with this issue and verify with other members if problem
has been fixed. -

Last time i updated was oct last year i think. My Ford software version is 6.00 Has anybody tried to do cyc cut out on a 2010 f150 5.4L engine? -

There has been a few updates since then. But I can't verify if this is fixed already since I
no longer own a maxidas. I have the maxisys mini and I haven't seen this issue on
mine yet. I have used mine for just about every functions on ford and never ran into
anything like this. Including cyl cut out,power balance and more. -
